This is great online course on bioacoustics led by @M_Arayas_Salas. I had the chance to take it and I highly recommend it. The course covers topics from sound structure measurements to sound detection. https://twitter.com/tropicalstudies/status/1365391298044309507

I have a new preprint out about content bias in the cultural evolution of house finch song! 🐦🎶 We applied simulations + machine learning to three years of birdsongs spanning four decades and found evidence of a content bias for syllable complexity: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.03.05.434109v1
