I have a new preprint out about content bias in the cultural evolution of house finch song! 🐦🎶 We applied simulations + machine learning to three years of birdsongs spanning four decades and found evidence of a content bias for syllable complexity: https://www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.03.05.434109v1
